I'm trying to make a decision for our July trip. In the past we've always used FL Tours and been very happy with their towncar service. However, having the luggage delivered right to our room seems nice as well. It seems like things have been improving with ME - but still, I'm worried that everything will go wrong the time we try to use it.

Our flight is supposed to get into Orlando at 1:30pm so if things go quickly enough we'd be getting to BC right in time to check in.

Thoughts or suggestions?

We're gonna stick with Tiffany Town Car. Never have had a problem with them (have used them six or seven times). I also require a grocery stop, so I like having that option. Plus ME seems to have too many problems. Free is nice, but as dh put it "do whatever will frustrate you (ME!) less." LOL

we are also traveling in july and i am thinking of using ME. but i am also reserving a limo juist in case they dont have all of the bugs worked out by then. i was very happy with happy limo last year and have no problem with using them again. if ME is working out the way i think it will then i will use it and be very happy to spend the money i saved inside the parks.

While free does have an appeal, I always say, you get what you pay for. Sunray has never failed me and since they help with luggage at the airport, then they transfer it to the hotel luggage folks, then they bring it to my room, it's "nearly" the same. Except I pay for and always receive amazing service. I'm too nervous at the beginning of my vacation about things at work going wrong, missing/delayed flights, etc., that I don't want to take any chances with Magical Express.

If you're really satisfied with your towncar service, I say go with them. Why take chances into the unknown if you're pleased with what you've used before? Personally, I just won't take that chance.

Same here I am going down the first week in July and have given my flight info to Disney but also have a car reserved just in case. I just don't want to have my trip ruined as soon as i get down there and not have my bags.

I'm traveling with my mom (68 yrs), niece (6) and two nephews (6 and 10) and if everything is not working smoothly by the time my trip comes along I can't risk it.

sorry sent it twice.

basically, if you're not concerned with the time it takes to get to the resort than it shouldn't be a problem. for me, i know i'd be frustrated if it took us too long from MCO to AKL with ME. so we did tiffany both ways (just got back yesterday). yes it cost me more $ money, but i didn't have to worry about how long it would take or when our luggage would arrive. however, you're not going till july-- i'd reserve a towncar and just keep your eyes on the boards= then decide if time or money is more important to you. you have time to see how ME improves-- or not! i'm sure it will tho

I used ME last week and had no problems at all. We arrived in MCO at 9:00 am and they had people to meet you to show you the way. We did receive our tags and our luggage was marked. We had to sign in and then went to the bus. We waited like 10 min and then we were on our way. We arrived at CBR and our room was not ready yet so they gave us our room keys and we changed our clothes. I brought a carry-on with change of clothes for everyone. The have a service to hold your carry-ons and anything you don't want to carry to the parks. When we came back to the CBR we used the phone at the bus stop at Jamaica and got our room number. Our luggage and all our carry-ons were in the room. When we left we phoned for luggage pick-up and did a early airport check-in. They brought our luggage to us and we checked it in. Then we got them to hold our carry-ons and went to DTD. We got back and for our 5:00 bus and had to wait 30 min, the bus driver said there isn't enough buses and they are adding more. He said they had taken over 9000 people to the airports that morning. It was nice not lugging any luggage all week and I would use the ME busses again.

Ok..so I'm wondering what to do too. I got nervous about ME and reserved a towncar. Then my ME packet came yesterday and everything was correct. I called to verify that they would provide return transportation at 4 a.m. and was assured that yes, it's fine. I asked about people having to take cabs earlier this month, but she said they most definitely will pick us up as many people have that situation....

So, now I'm wondering if I should just save that money and go with ME. I'm not so concerned about time...our flight lands at 1:00 p.m., so even with a little longer commute, we'll be hitting the hotel at a good time.

So, what do you think? Do I trust ME? Anyone else have a very early morning flight out and use ME? Thanks! :flower:

We got our ME tags and such, but DH reserved Quicksilver for our transfers. Just not real sure about ME especially since they have all the wrong flight info. I called to fix it but got no answer . So we will towncar it to ASMu and back to MCO.

We have booked a towncar for our trip in October. Partly, because of what I have been reading about the ME (although, it is new) and partly because it is our honeymoon.....I just wanted something extra special. :bride:

I believe the bugs will be worked out of ME in no time. I want a grocery stop for my family, so we will be still using a town car. Plus, with six of us, I just want a little more control and personal attention. If it was just me or a couple of us, ME would be a consideration.
