So we are using the magic express just to get back from the hotel to the airport...should we be on the lookout for this 'packet' that comes in the mail before trip or will we get our stuff before we check out at the hotel?

You might get the packet, but you won't need anything in it. As long as you have ME reserved, you should get an envelope on your resort door the day before(?) your departure. That will tell you when to meet your bus.

You shouldn't get anything in the mail if you are only using it for the return portion of your trip. They'll hang an envelope on your day the day before you check out that will tell you your pick up time and will have your boarding passes (if applicable).

If they signed up for return they might get one. I got 2 envelopes ( 1 with tags for going down and 1 with mickey book with our return.

I've gotten one in the past when I was just using the return trip. That's why I said they MIGHT get a packet.

I have done this for the last 3 years and on previous trips and always received a ME book and letter. If you do not it is no problem as you do not need it but call and get the confirmation # just to be safe...
