ME no luggage tags - Help!

I never received our luggage tags in the mail and we leave Monday morning. I called ME and they said no problem just give them our baggage claim ticket but DH's worried that we won't received our luggage for days!!

Some one please tell me they didn't get their tags and everything went okay!

We went last September and never received our ME tags (even after 3 phone calls and numerous reassurances that they would arrive on time.) I was a little nervous ( and slightly annoyed) because I had planned so carefully for the trip. I made up my own tags with our names and resort name on them and I put #1 of 5, #2 of 5, etc. on each tag because I had seen those suggestions on one of the boards here. When we arrived in Orlando the ME people were great and I just had to fill out an extra form at the ME counter. I did not go to baggage claim. We went directly to the ME counter and they took care of everything for us. We just had to give them our info and ME vouchers that we received in the mail and describe each of our pieces of luggage. We got to POP and headed right out for a park and by the time we returned all of our bags were in our room. It was no problem at all. I hope that helps. Have a great trip!!

I actually just called ME and they told me if I felt better about it, I could bring my luggage with me on the bus, we only have one suitcase. I didn't know you could bring your luggage if you wanted to. They don't tell you that's an option!

We feel much more comfortable bringing it with us only because we DON'T have the luggage tags.

I plan on packing light so if I wanted to bring our 2 suitcases on the bus we could? So I assume that I just go claim them from baggage claim myself? I've never used ME before and I made the ressie at Christmas and still haven't received any docs for ME. When should I expect to receive them?

I called ME last night and they said my tags were mailed out back in Dec, so they must have gotten lost in the mail.

They said there's no rush for me to run to the buses right after we land. I could go to baggage and get my own luggage and bring it on the bus with us. It's just a convenience that they will transport the luggage for you. I personally feel much better about taking it with me ONLY because I don't have the proper tags.

I can attest everything will be just fine. We left home Jan 1st with no luggage tags, and I fretted all day about it. When we arrived, I got in the ME line, 15 minutes later we were boarding our bus for POP. The ME cast members know their jobs well. My cast member just asked for a discription of each bag(they have a sample chart so it's easy to point out your bags), then I gave him our claim tickets for the luggage. He logged them into the computer, gave them back to me, printed out our return vouchers for the day we came home, then sent us on to the bus line. After a fun evening at MK that evening, our 5 bags were in our room when we returned. I fretted for nothing. We will certainly use ME again, even if we have to pay for it. Have a great vacation.

We didn't get our ME tags either. We just carried our 2 suitcases on the bus with us. It wasn't a big deal. I personally like having my bags with me. Just an ease of mind thing I guess.
