I'm not sure where the best place to ask is so I figured I'd just ask here. Anytime I've gone to Disney, our group has all been on the same flight. But this trip, 5 of us are on one flight, and 2 are on another. We're doing Magical Express and are having Disney pick up our luggage and deliver to AKV. Since we are on separate flights, will our luggage most likely come to the room separately? Or will they wait until all of our luggage has arrived at AKV to deliver to our room? Most likely, we won't be in our room and I always leave a tip right by the entrance. If our luggage comes in two separate trips, I don't want the second person to not get a tip. Sorry, I know this seems like such a minor thing, but I want to make sure everyone that deserves to be tipped gets tipped! I don't want to be those jerks that didn't tip. I figured others have been in the situation where groups arrived separately so some of you may know the answer to this question. Thanks!

It's my understanding that the gratuity for baggage delivery for guests using ME is built into the cost of the service and that cost is built into the cash room rate or dues for points reservations.

Correct, the tip is already taken care of. That's why they will deliver your luggage with no one in the room.

And if you still want to leave one go ahead. I think it will be a real hit or miss on the luggage delivery. It will depend on how busy/backed up they might be and how far apart your flights are. If one group arrives at 2 and the other at 3...might be a good chance for everything to be delivered at one time. If one group arrives at 9 am and the other at 4 pm....the odds are more in favor of seperate delivery.

The other factor is when your room is ready....obviously it can't be delivered until your room is ready.

Well both flights are set to arrive between 4 and 5 so they won't be too far apart unless one flight is delayed. I didn't realize the tip was considered as already included. I would still feel bad not tipping...so I'll still tip anyway.

Thanks for the responses. :)

just tell bell services or concierge what is going on and most likely they will deliver them all at one time.

The gratuity thing has been addressed....you tip them going home :)
