ME - guess on luggage delivery time for later flight

Our flight arrives on a Friday evening at about 8:44 p.m. We will, of course, pack night clothes, toiletries, clothes for the next day, and the like in our carry-ons. I'm trying to guess whether we can expect to receive our checked luggage before about 11:00? We'll be beat and wanting to go to sleep.

Can I ask that they not deliver the bags if it'll be later than a particular time?

We used ME in July and it was great, but we arrived around noon. Our bags made it to the room before we did!

Any help is appreciated. (Less than 2 weeks to go! )

When you check in ask them not to deliver them if it's after 11pm or until morning. You can always tell them you'll pick them up from the bell captain yourself at your first convenience. Personally, if I was arriving late as you are, I'd just pick up my own bags and take them with me to ME. Then they go on the bus with you and you don't have to worry about it... Obviously you don't want to use the yellow tags in that instance so your baggage would actually go to the proper carousel.

We arrived at about 4 pm, and our luggage was delivered at about 8:30. It was very busy on arrival though at it was close to Marathon weekend. Of you are worrried about them delivering it too late you can ask them to bring it in the morning.

Thanks for the responses. I really enjoy not having to get our bags at baggage claim. To me, that's a real bonus of ME.

We arrived at the resort around 11:00 p.m. We asked that the luggage not be delivered until morning. We had a message that our bags had arrived when we woke up and they delivered them within minutes of calling down for them (around 7 a.m.).

If your staying at a value resort for the first night, due to a late night (11:00) arrival, and then a deluxe resort the next morning, can you just have them deliver the luggage directly to the deluxe resort?

Thanks for this info. I was thinking of doing this for our upcoming late flight. I loved using ME last Nov, but we arrived at 10:30 am and our bags were not delivered until 6 pm, so with our new upcoming late flight, I'm takin' my bags with me. I wasn't sure if I could do that, so thanks for posting this.

Well, I called today, and now I can answer my own question. The folks at ME said yes.
