Hello!
We are going to WDW for a 2-night adults-only trip next month:goodvibes I'm wondering if it is possible (and allowed) to take DME directly to Yacht club for dinner instead of to our resort (AKL)? I'm just thinking by the time we get to AKL and get checked in it will be time to get back on the busses to get to dinner!

Thanks for responses!!!

You are supposed to go directly to your resort, but on two occasions I have asked to go to a different resort, and my request has been honored. I was a solo traveller trying to hook up with my family that had already been at the World for several days. Once I asked to go to Coronado instead of Pop (so I could grab a cheap cab to HS and see Osbourne Lights right before the park closed), and once I asked for a Boardwalk area resort instead of Pop(so I could get to EPCOT for the last Candlelight Processional of the evening). Both times it was not a hard sell on my part. I just explained my preference and why, they said we're not supposed to do this, but did it anyway. I did not beg, plead, whine or yell. Just asked and was accomodated. Just sharing my experience.

When you are boarding the ME bus ask the driver what stops are before AKL, most make 3 stops, I would assume the last would be AKL because of it's location. If it stops at one of the Epcot resorts you might want to get off there and walk to the YC. Or maybe you'll get lucky and it will be the YC.
If you have carry on bags or your luggage you'll have to take them off the bus with you, which will be a pain to drag around with you, and then to a park if you plan on taking a bus to get back to AKL.
Check park closing times when planning a bus for your return to AKL, or just grab a cab from YC to AKL, approx cost $14-$16 plus tip

Uh, you know Pop and Caribbean Beach are the closest non-Epcot resorts to DHS, right?
