ME and luggage

So I am getting into MCO late in the evening and going to POFQ. I want to guarantee we have our luggage that night. I don't mind carrying bags (that's why we brought the kids ).

So if I don't put ME tags on our bags, do I just go to the baggage claim, pick up our bags, and get in the ME line? I guess I just put our luggage in the bus luggage area and pick it up when we stop at POFQ and lug it to our room after checkin? Does that sound correct? Doesn't seem like a big deal to ensure we get our bags. That's what we normally do on a non-Disney trip.

It should be added that you should tip a dollar a bag for the bus driver to place your bags under the bus and retrieve them for you.

Anyone arriving after 10:00 pm must take their luggage with them.

All correct. We do this almost every time, mostly because I like to unpack right away. You will have to collect them at the baggage carousel and then go all the way back across the airport to get to ME, that's the only thing that may be irritating to some. They are on opposite sides. But other than that, it is easy and you should tip the bus driver as PP said.

There is no luggage pull from the baggage claim after 10:00 pm. Therefore, your bags will continue to remain on the carousel at baggage claim until airport personnel pulls them and sends them off to baggage claim. You would have to go back to the airport the next morning and claim your bags at lost and found.

She can proceed to the ME Waiting area, but they check in the entire party at one time. They match transportation vouchers to people getting on the buses.

You no longer have to wait at the counter. If you have all your transportation vouchers and no issue with luggage and tags, since you already have your luggage, you proceed right to the ME line when the entire party arrives.
