ME and Late(ish) Arrival

Our flight arrives close to 8 p.m. this Saturday, based on your past experience, how long do you think it will take for our luggage to arrive at POP Century using the ME?

I am wondering if we should just claim our luggage and take it with us. How late do they deliver luggage to the rooms?

It should arrive around 11 ish. They'll deliver it when it arrives. If you think it's too late you you, then either tell bell services to deliver it in the morning (and pack your carry-on accordingly) or pick it up yourself and carry it on the ME.

Actually it should arrive by around 12:30ish. They aim to have you your luggage within 3 hours of checking into your resort, not of when your plane lands. You will hopefully be to your resort by 9:30, depending on factors such has how long the lines are for DME and how many resort stops are on your route.

You will arrive at POP by 9:30. Your bags??? Well, that's another story. Pop has some of the worst baggage delivery onsite. They don't just bring the luggage to the rooms when the bags get there. They make luggage runs periodically. Drives me nuts. And, I don't think their luggage assistence area is manned late at night...there may be people there but they don't make luggage deliveries.
If it were me, I would just take the addtl 20 mins and get my own bags at that time. Don't put the yellow tags on them, go to baggage claim, get the bags and take them to the DME bus with you.
