Me and DF had a great weekend!

So I just wanted to post this cuz it sorta makes sense but I'm assuming that I'm not the only bride that is like this. So me and DF had the best weekend! I don't really get to see him that much because he is down at base during the week and I work a lot on weekends but this weekend was just great! Nothing really out of the ordinary but just great!

So then this morning I was thinking about it and I realized that we did absolutely NOTHING associated with the wedding. I don't think we even talked about it. Isn't that crazy? I think that the DF gets frustrated with me as much as I get frustrated with wedding stuff. So for all of you who are frustrated just take a little break!

Well now that my break is over I guess I should work on wedding stuff! A little over 2 months left! I'm sooo excited!!!!

That is really good advice. I remember reading something like that in a bridal magazine and thinking "How can I possibly go an entire weekend without talking about the wedding?!" But my DF really appreciated it...

Congratulations! I think you should get an award! Seriously I don't think either of us could go a day without mentioning it let alone a whole weekend. It would be so difficult - I just don't see it happening. The sad thing is that nothing new is happening - just the same old same old.

Good for you! I completely understand - DH and I are in the process of trying to adopt and it is the most stressful thing we've ever done (you think a wedding is stressful - that was a piece of cake compared to this ordeal!). We went on vacation last month and agreed before we left not to discuss the adoption at all and it was the BEST decision we made! It was a fantastic and romantic vacation and something we really needed.
