Hi I hope you can help me out with a question on the ME and baggage please: Do you have to double drop your luggage at MCO anymore, or can you just get it from the carousel and then take it straight to the ME stop? Anyone know the routine now at MCO?

5 weeks to go now - getting exciting, just a few things to finalise.

Thanks. :goodvibes

I dont know the answer to the question about ME but just wanted to say your going the same time as me. I fly 5 weeks today from Manchester.:cheer2:

jumping on the bandwagon, we fly out 2 days before you jackieleann, from manchester also :thumbsup2 we are also using me want to know also

You need to collect your luggage to put it through customs and then get the monorail to the main terminal. You can then re collect your luggage and take it on the coach or leave it on the carousel and disney will bring it to the hotel for you within about 3 hours.

In April after customs we didn't get offered chance to put luggage back on conveyer belt as usual but were waved quickly thro' and straight onto monorail.
Saved time for us :) but a couple beside us on the monorail were very disgruntled as they struggled with a huge amount of luggage, toddler and buggy!

Hi all and thanks to the posters. We actually leave on the 18th of August from Gatwick. 6 of us, all classed as adults by Disney (actual ages for the kids are 16, 14, 12, 10) so we booked 2 rooms at CSR as well as 2 rooms at RPR for 1 night, just for the FOTL. If Disney offered FOTL to all there on-site guests then that would be a great perk, IMHO.

Anyway so it looks like we will have a bit of a choice here, either leave the luggage with, hopefully, the ME lables on and Disney will collect, or we take them with us and put them in the ME bus. I prefer Option 2 as even though there are the 6 of us we actually all travel light.

Never stayed on-site before, only doing it this time for the free DDP, so really looking forward to a bit more of a relaxing holiday for us "real" adults.

4 weeks and counting; :cool1:

I a pretty sure they dont have the double baggage drop at OIA anymore.

Anyone who has been recently confirm ?
