My flight arrives in Orlando at 1:05 and I made a 2:25 ADR at Chef Mickey's. (we are staying at Contemporary and using ME...) Do you think I am cutting it too close??

I think I know the answer, but figured the experts would know best!
TIA
Merri

Yes....I believe you are cutting it a little close.
You may get straight on a bus, or you may have to wait 20 minutes or more. Plus it seems like it takes people forever to disembark a plane anymore....must be all the carryons.

Yes, that is way to tight. I'd suggest booking a later ADR.

What's the on time arrival % for your flight? Is it high enough that you can be pretty sure of the 1:05 arrival?

I would be as worried about flight delays as I would about DME.

The average DME time reported is 70 minutes when using the luggage delivery, it can be as quick as 60 or as long as 90. Add to this time if you have to stop for the potty, water etc and if the lines are long at DME or if your the last of the 3 stops.

I think your cutting it very close even a long check in line could make you late! IMHO if your doing any ADR's I would do dinner and only those that don't require a non-refundable deposit.

I travel alot and even the best plans sometimes go bad! I rarely make firm plans for arrival day, just to much can go wrong and I don't like to add the stress of making plans. We usually play it by ear, a pool swim and quick service meals on day one just in case.

That's cutting it way too close for me. There's too many "what ifs" - even if your plane arrived on time - it often has taken us 15 min. to get to the gate & disembark - then to walk through the airport, get on the tram over to the other terminal & down to ME - where depending on what time of the day you're arriving - there could be another 20 min. wait in line. Then another 20 min. wait if the CR bus just left. Delays on the highway (rare but they do happen)...other stops on the ME bus...checking in...all could have minor glitches that add major time. We stayed at BLT in November & the ME bus made several stops before CR - I think WL & Poly - it was a very long ME ride!

I'd say it's cutting it too close. On the other hand I'd bet that Chef Mickey's would still seat you if you got there by 3:00. After all you did have an ADR and can provide the excuse that ME took longer then you thought. Plus it can't be too crowded at Chef Mickey's in the afternoon between lunch and dinner. But who can say for sure until it happens. :confused3
