I was wondering what everyone'ss favorite sit down places to eat are. I understand you need to make reservations in advance, but have no clue which ones are best with the best chance of seeing more characters. Thanks

My DH and I love Le Cellier Steakhouse in EPCOT located in Canada. We love the atmosphere there the soup, bread and the steaks are very good.

If you're looking for character meals, some of our favorites are Chef Mickey's at the CR (characters at breakfast and dinner ::yes::); Cape May Cafe at the BC (characters at breakfast only); and Ohana at the Poly (characters at breakfast only). Other sit down meals that don't have characters but have great food are Kona Cafe at the Poly (awesome prime rib and filet :thumbsup2); Boma at the AKL (buffet); Cape May Clambake at the BC; and Ohana at the Poly (all you can eat but served family style to your table :)). Good luck with your choices ;). Happy planning :yay:.

I am going to move this to our Dining Forums. :)

Well...some of our regular stops are...Crystal Palace in the MK (Winnie the Pooh and friends are there), 1900 Park Fare at the GF (Cinderella, the Prince and the mice), Chef Mickey's at the CR (Mickey and his buddies). Goofy's Beach Blast Breakfast at the BC (Goofy, Minnie, chipmunks, Pluto). Donald's at AK (Donald, and friends) Liberty Tree Tavern in MK (Goofy, Minnie and Mickey??).
There are others but those are the ones we do the most often...the ones we do almost every trip at Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys, and Goofys Beach Blast.

1) Chef Mickey for breakfast
2) Tusker House for breakfast
3) Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner
4) Cape May for breakfast
5) Crystal Palace for breakfast

We have boys, so none of the places I have listed have the princess thing going...

Next trip we are trying
1) 1900 Park Fare for breakfast
2) Ohana for breakfast

One of my favorites for characters is Garden Grove in the Swan. On Mondays and Fridays they have Timon and Rafiki. (other nights they have Goofy and Pluto, I think, and the waitress told me that they have some breakfasts with Chip and Dale.) Anyway, we went last year and it was practically empty, we had Timon mostly to ourselves! (well, Rafiki too, but we loooove Timon.) We're going again this year, just for Timon. This place is not on the DDP, however they do give a discount with your AAA card.

We did Akershus Princess storybook, it was a good time. This year in addition to seeing Timon, we're doing the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at Ohana, Crystal Palace breakfast for Pooh and friends, Chef Mickey's for the big mouse, and 1900 Park Faire to see Cinderella's step-sisters!
