I want to book our September flight today, the prices are good. We would have a 1 hour layover at MDW on the most desirable flight, is that going to be enough time? We have to wait for them to get our stroller off as well...."

The worst case scenario is that it take 10 minutes to get the stroller then you have to go from the end of the B Concourse to the end of the A Concourse which is about 20 minutes. That would get you at the new gate about 30 minutes before the flight so boarding will be just starting. Again that is the worst case scenario so having 1 hour between flights is plenty of time.

I like layovers at Midway, actually. And I agree you should have time, it is not a very large airport.

(I like to grab Potbelly sandwich, no matter what time it is when I get there, lol) ;)

Thanks! I will keep the Potbelly sandwich in mind !

Airlines will not let you book connections that are too tight. As far as the airlines are concerned each airport has a min connection time based on normal performance, depending on airport size, time it takes to transfer bags etc. They won't even show you connections that do not meet their min time. The last thing they want to do is have to rebook on another flight so they err on the side of caution and knowing what works.

As far as the stroller, if you don't mind some unasked for advice, if you can and there are at least 2 adults, only have one wait for the stroller and have everyone else walk up the jetway and wait inside, if it is not already waiting for you.
