MDE won't let me cancel Rose & Crown online?

I have a reservation for Rose & Crown toward the end of October and was going to cancel it. However, when I tried to cancel online, it gave me a message of: "Cancellation for this dining event is not available online"

Did I miss something? When did Rose & Crown become a "dining event" with a 24 hour cancellation policy?

Do you think this is right or do you think MDE is just being wonky? I'd rather not have to spend the time making the call. As far as I know, I didn't have to do any kind of credit card guarantee on the reservation or anything.

What do you think?

I'm wondering too. Do I have to call to cancel? If that is the case then, I will wait until I arrive because that is crazy to waste time to call.

I had this problem with a normal restaurant the other day. I just waited, went back, and I was able to cancel. The website is very glitchy.

I had the same experience with Garden Grill. Tried to cancel one day, gave me the error message you received, and then when I tried to cancel the next day it went right through

I'd try again later or maybe even a different day.

Yep- total glitch with the lovely MDE. When we were at WDW, I was trying to cancel an ADR for lunch for the next day, and I got that message all day. Early the next morning I was able to cancel it easily. Bodes real well for the new system that you have to cancel the day before or get charged doesn't it? I tried at least 20 times with no luck.

I'm having the same trouble trying to cancel Tusker House. I've been trying since yesterday. At some point I'll give up and call.
