MDE Ticket Help

I am hoping someone here can help reassure me that this will all work out.

My DD15 & I are going July 27- August 7. I purchased AP for the 2 of us because we plan to go again next summer.

My DH, DD15, DS13, & I are planning for December 21-28. I booked FD which of course includes tickets (I just did 2-day base). I was told that I could save DD's & mine & use to upgrade AP (when that time comes) or towards future visits. DD & I would use our AP this trip. After DS used his ticket once, I would upgrade his to how ever many park days we are doing during Dec. trip. With DH, I could do the same as with DS ticket OR DH also has 5 days left on a NE ticket. (Not sure what would be better in regards to his ticket.)

To make things even crazier, we all have waterpark entries left on our NE tickets.

Do I link them all and pray like crazy that tickets are pulled from the correct spot OR do I not link our NE tickets and just bring those cards with us.

How in the heck would MDE know where I wanted to pull from?

How do I make sure that DD's & my 2-day ticket doesn't get activated?

You can prioritize your tickets by calling Disney or going to guest relations when you are there.
