MDE Refresher Course

Have not been to WDW since November 2016 and can't remember what I did last trip.
Just booked a trip for April 2020 at Pop.

The line up:
Room 1: Grandma (me) and DGD (14)
Room 2: DD, DSIL, DGD (9)

I have a MDE account with all family members listed as managed by me. I don't think DD has an MDE account and she won't know if she did have one in the past.

Waiting for the reservation confirmations from my TA.

Can I link the reservation and tix for DD's room from my MDE or should I set up up an account for me on my computer and manage it all for her? Think that is how I did it last time but can't remember. Any issues having 2 MDE on the same laptop? use 2 different browsers?

I will need to do on line check in for that other room and add the credit card # and PIN. Can I do this from my MDE? I think that is how I did it last time but can't remember.

Finally - DD will need an MDE account of her own to do Mobile Ordering when we are in the parks so she can access their dining credits; should I set it up for her now or wait until just before we travel and show here how to do it on her phone?

Decide first if you *will* manage everyone. If so, just add your DD in and don't get her an account. If she wants an account to manage some of her own stuff, then create her account and THEN do the invites for friends and family.

If you manage under one account, just give your DD the login information to your account and she can do it all. My son did this with no problem last year.

The only thing I think she would need her own account for is mobile ordering. She is not interested in doing FP+ or making ADRs which is actually easier for me.

Couldn't she mobile order just logged into your account on her own phone?

hmmm, there was no mobile ordering available last trip. both rooms have the QSDP, maybe I can do it for her on my phone and pull the credits from that room.
I have 7 months to figure that out!

I find it’s easier just to give everyone my log in and password, that way we are all under one account.
