My sister in law is going to WDW in January, party of 10. I am not going. She is getting ready to pick ADRs tomorrow, then eventually, fps. Is there any way I can assist her? If we are linked through family and friends? She is really having a hard time.

Thank you; I've been doing that, but she just doesn't get it. I'm still working on her, lol. She was just able to book her room today but hasn't gotten her reservation linked to MDE yet so she can just get the one day anyway.

If she gives you her login info, you’ll have access to book FPs for all 10 people. Anyone can book dining. You don’t even need exact names.

I think that she can link with you as ‘family and friends’ and then you can look at her plans, make ADRs and FOs.

Many of the Disney IT applications have 'issues' which make them behave unpredictably. Also, some people are not as computer savvy as others, so it makes trying to explain what to do more complicated. If you live near each other, might try doing the input when you are at her house.

Yes, trying to explain has been so...trying. I'd rather get her list and do it myself. She had been trying to find a DVC resort for months and I found one for her yesterday and called her up. She was depending on someone to call her. Now we are on to ADRs but she hasn't linked her resort yet. Can hardly wait for the fps.

This is what I was going to say - the easiest way would be for her to just give you her login information and do it yourself.

I'm going with my cousin's family in November. She's not really app-savvy nor does she want to spend the time on planning. So she gave me her log in details for the app and I just go on her account and book for her (we are also on each other's friends and family list).

One thing that is puzzling me (and I need to go ask my own question on this) is that using her account, I booked JUST her family a Chef Mickey's dining reservation. My group is not going. The one thing I did do, because I didn't have her credit card handy, was to guarantee it with my card.
When I log into my account, the dinner reservation is showing up in my plans even though I'm not one of the attendees. I am wondering if it's because I booked with my card.

No; you see the reservation because you are linked to her account.

I’m linked to another Mod and also to a CM and I always see their Dining and FP Plans when I’m in my own MDX account.

Cool, thanks. I was worried it was going to block me from making another ADR at that time.

It still might, be careful my sister and I were traveling at the same time and each accidentally canceled one of the other person’s dining reservations while trying to modify our own
