MDE question

We are flying for the first time, I called and added our flight information to our reservation Saturday. Should I see it in my MDE account? Just want to make sure I get the yellow tags.

@emmakatbaby - Hi there, FYI, since your post is generally transportation related, I moved it over here to the Transportation board where the folks in the know about yellow tags and such hang out. Hopefully someone here can assist.

No, I don't believe it shows up on MDX. If you called and had it added, but you are nervous about it, you can always call back and just confirm it was logged.

ETA: As Fangorn points out below there is sort of an indirect way to see it, and I double checked on mine and it's there. We've also had it set up before and not had them send the tags (or not sent in time), and as others have said, you can still have them retrieved if you have your baggage claim ticket and provide it to the Disney Magical Express peeps at the airport on arrival.

Your DME information does not really show up on your MDE account - at least not directly.

If you go into the app (only the app, not the website) you can see if it's set up, but none of the details. Go to the online check-in function. If DME has not been set up, then online checkin asks you to provide an arrival time at the resort. If DME IS set up, you don't get that choice, and it will say something to the effect of "arriving by Disney's Magical Express".

That's the only indication you'll see on MDE.

If can always call DME directly at 866 599-0951 and verify that it's been set up properly.

If you don't get the yellow tags, simply give the CM at the DME desk your luggage claim tickets and they will still deliver your luggage to your room
