Hi there,

I’m trying to build up my UX design portfolio (as I’m a beginner in the field) and wanted to do a case study on the My Disney Experience app where I address some notable pain points with using the app.

If you don’t mind, in the thread below, could you please give me specific examples of things you’d like to see improved about the app?

Note that this is a personal project, and I’m not affiliated or employed by Disney at all. I’m just an aspiring UX designer wanting to do some user research, since I have a vast pool of people who use it regularly on these boards.

Thanks in advance for your help!

To give you an idea of what I’m looking for, here are several that a friend of mine gave me.

1) It’s generally slow and unresponsive
2) Sometimes info doesn’t load correctly and you have to reload a page or restart the app (example: trying to mobile order and it saying mobile order isn’t available at that time even though it really is)
2) it’s not incredibly intuitive where to find info
3) too many clicks to make fastpasses or do other popular tasks
4) If I’m in the fastpass screen and want to exit, I have to back out of all of the FP screens to go back home. You should just be able to “cancel” or X out of FP screen.
4) Id like to be able to search FPs by attraction and see what days/times are available for that attraction without having to select each day.
5) Photopass photos do not show up reliably
6) I should be able to link a credit card in the app and pay in park via magic band
7) You can only view bus schedules if you have an active room reservation. That should be open to everyone using the app
