Anyone else notice their children's ages are wrong in MDE despite the fact their birth dates are in the system correctly? My DS8 is showing as 7 but he will be 9 by the time we travel in November and my DS3 is showing as an infant. I am not as concerned about older DS but my younger is represented as a infant on all our dining reservations including one we had to pre-pay for. I honestly wasn't paying attention previously and only noticed this because I wanted check the time of one in particular and noticed this. I verified all info I provided is correct.

TIA

My kids were showing as 3 and 7....they are 10 & 13 next trip. We figured it out when I was making initial resort pkg ressies. It took them almost 45 min to fix! Now it shows as those "guests" being cancelled and the correct ones as new.

Ugh! Spending 45 minutes on the phone doesn't sound like fun. Just concerned with how deleting and recreating profiles will effect prepaid reservations and their old MBs. Since I was the one who lost their MB on a previous trip I know how easy it is to do and I want to bring our old ones as a precaution.

Can you change the age at MDE profile. I can edit my children's age under friends & family of my account.

That's the thing, their age is driven by the birthdate set up in MDE which I verified is correct. It also stated any changes to birthdate needs to be called in.

We've gone every year for the last 10. This is the first time since they began MDE that the kids' ages have been wrong! I only took note of it because my son is excited to be an "adult" on the dining plan finally. I'm thinking a glich happened along the way this year. I was not able to change anything myself.....and they also told me they had to change it at their end.

My niece's and nephew's ages are wrong too. It only really affects my niece though, as she is now considered an adult. I don't trust calling because of horror stories of ADRs being lost or screwed up, so I'll just inform the restaurants when we check in. Seems fair enough to me. Children showing up as infants, now that could pose a real problem if it wasn't fixed, I would think.

My oldest son's age is listed as 18+ from the last trip, and I never noticed it. He now has his own account (he's 15) and unfortunately, I can't delete the old profile because it has his magic band on it from two years ago. I've just been making ADRs etc. with his new profile and the magic band has his correct avatar on it, so I'm hoping it won't be a big deal. Since he's well past the age for the cutoff, I can't see that it would matter, but who knows? :/

My friend who is older than I am was listed on my MDX as an infant for a long time.

For restaurants, unless they are prepaid it doesn't matter. I have an Ohana reservation for 8 adults. No names because I didn't know who was coming. Turns out 2 will be children. We will just let them know when we check in at the restaurant that 2 guests are children.

On a prepaid reservation I believe they do make you name the guests, so you might have to have that fixed.
