So we were at WDW for disapalooza and used MDE. We had no problems or issues and it was fast on our iPads and Verizon iPhones.

Just got here today and MDE is different and totally slow! Anyone have any thoughts or ideas for us? It takes 10 mins just to try to view my plans....

No suggestions but it was slow when we were there in Feb. as well.

My suggestion would be to reboot your phone. If that doesn't work, take it off of WiFi and use the 4G network, if you have that available on your device. Sometimes the WiFi is the main issue. If all else fails, visit the concierge desk at your resort and explain your trouble. They might be able to help you there instead of having to fight the off-site crowds at the in park FP+ kiosks.

We were just there last week and only had a problem really one day with it being slow. I chalked it up to the fact that it was raining and everyone was prob on the site to change their plans.

I mean, it wasn't lightning fast, but it wasn't that slow. I'd try rebooting your phone to. Or completely closing the app and restarting it. ;)

On the flip side, when we were in Enchanted Tales with Belle I was able to upload videos lightening quick with the wifi there. Like most wifi it can be hit or miss.

Verizon 4G stinks at WDW. I would suggest staying off of the sewer that 802.11 in 2ghz at the parks (oh how I wish there was a way to force 5ghz on an i-device). I would stay on Verizon 3G. 3G is reliable in the parks and works fine with MDE. If you have ATT HSPA or LTE you will be golden. The ATT sites there have more capacity (OC48) than most ISPs.

I do have Verizon. Maybe that was it!
