MDE & FP+...Help me with this scenario

We are going to WDW the week after Easter. Staying at The Swan. This is our first time there using FP+. I will be purchasing our park hoppers from Undercover Tourist next week.

When our park hoppers arrive, I was going to go onto my MDE account and link them to my account. Will I be able to pick our FP+ attractions at that time? Sure hoping I can so I can avoid those horrible lines I'm hearing about!

We are taking another family with us. It is their first time. It's bad enough that we will be limited to 3 FP+ attractions in one park, per day. I'm hoping I can at least pick our 3 FP+ attractions before we leave home.

Unless I've missed something recent, I didn't think Swan guests could book FP+ in advance at this time , only day of at the parks. Swan/Dolphin is the same as other off site resorts at this time.

Vicki, This is just dandy! I knew this FP+ was coming, but thought I would continue to use Legacy FP as long as I could. Now that option will not be available.

My only hope for salvaging this vacation will be if the Disney execs see what a mess they have created at the parks and open the opportunity to off-site & Swan/Dolphin guests to pre-register for their FP+ attractions.

Make sure you do some more checking around on the boards and threads about off site and FP, just to verify that I'm correct (if no one else posts here) or just to see if that changes. Sorry that my answer was bad for you!

My friend stayed at the Swan last week for the marathon and they did not get magic bands. They were told it is not truly a Disney Property so no magic bands. They had to book FP+ at the kiosks. Hopefully, it will change by your stay. She didn't have any complaints about it but MK and DHS still had legacy FP.
