MDE - Dining ressie issues?

We have resort reservations starting Jan 3 and today was our dining reservation morning to book for first day +10. Woke up at 2:45am, ready to go for 3am (pacific) and we could only book for Jan 3. Our resort and tickets are linked on MDE. Friends and family are all set. The usual highlighting of the reservation dates on the calendar was not showing which was my first clue this was not going to be good. We played around with the site for about 20 minutes and found a work around (went to My Plans, then Add more plans, Dining Reservations and then searched by date and time) and it sometimes worked and sometimes not. Called Dining and was able to get some more but some of our preferred reservations were no longer available. CM put a ticket in to alert the tech team of the glitch because she confirmed that we should have been able to make reservations online this morning thru the 13th. Called the MDE phone line and they just said it was residual due to the "magical enhancements" made to the system yesterday. Hoping they get it fixed so I can do more reservations tomorrow for the 14th. Anyone have any ideas on what might be causing the issue or suggestions on who to call to check on this? Thank you!

My window opened up today as well. I was able to get one reservation for Topolino's on Jan 4 and nothing after that. I've tried MDE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

Y'all know there was a major meltdown with the system yesterday morning? If I understand correctly, the system switched to pre-pandemic capacity levels so available reservation numbers went through the roof. Disney isn't increasing capacity at this time, so many people who made reservations during that time are likely going to get cancelled.

I assume any issues today are entangled in that mess. Hope you get everything you want though!

Yes, but I could get times on MDE. When I selected a time, the blue circle of death just went round and round

Thank you. Yes, what a mess that was. Luckily we hadn't made any reservations yet since our reservation date is Jan 3. Sometimes the work around would get us a reservation and sometimes it would say it wasn't our time to make reservations yet, even for the same day we had already made a reservation.

Same. We tried incognito as well. If you haven't already, try the work around posted in my original post. It worked intermittently. Good luck!

I'm still having problems making reservations. I was able to add one more yesterday, but only one. I haven't been able to get any so far this morning. My next window opens up tomorrow for the second half of my stay and I'm really hoping that I can get what I want. Sigh.
