MDE availability in the Parks

We are planning a trip to WDW in January 2016. I'm wondering if there is WiFi in the parks or am I going to get slammed with roaming charges for using my Smartphone. We are from Canada. I would love to use the app to check out menus on the fly.... TTIA

yes free wifi in the parks so you should be fine there are spots that are weaker but they are adding more hot spots

you can also get it in your room or have have in the past if the wifi is not working just move some where else ( I even had it in line for space monition)
