MDE app and plans with family

We’re heading on a trip to WDW next month with my sister-in-law’s family. I linked our accounts and booked dining, hotel, tickets with park reservations, and some add on experiences. My SIL can’t see any of it on her app, and even her profiles for her husband and kids are no longer visible. I’ve sent messages to tech support, but does anyone have any insight?

Her app is updated, she signed in and out, and has rebooted her iPhone. The plans all show in my app along with their family’s profiles on all of the reservations we share. I will be doing our Genie+ reservations but it would be nice for her to be able to see the plans and details in the app.

Yes, then when I booked ADRs I was able to select her and the rest of the family. My husband has his own account and is in my list, and he can see all our reservations too.

Gave up after an hour and a half on hold with tech support

I don’t understand why there isn’t more trouble shooting available online directly from Disney. I’ve sent them a message and I tried using the chat in the app as well. I’ll update this thread if I fix the issue (though if I had to bet, it’ll just “magically” fix itself with a random update )

Update - it was user error
She had made two accounts using different email addresses (literally the first thing I asked her when she told me about the problem, and she said she only had one account ). I’m glad it is “fixed” now though.

Whew! I hope this little note can serve as a bit of tech support for anyone trying to help family members navigate technology.
