MDE app and offsite guests

What are offsite guests able to do with the MDE app? If they book fast pass+ in MK or AK, can they do anything with the fast passes in the app? Just wondering if I should tell my friends about the app when they're staying offsite. I guess they could still access it to find current wait times for rides?

If they have never had a MyMagic+ (MagicBands, FP+, etc) WDW Resort stay, they might be able to view the FP+ selections made in park, but they would not be able to modify them using the app.

Your friends won't be able to make any changes to their Fp+ on MDE. They would still need to go to a kiosk.

MDE for wait times, ADRs, a record of tickets that are linked is about it.
