We’re hopefully staying at the BWI, but now I don’t know what to make of it now. I originally booked a waterfront room because it was the only type of room available for our stay there at the time. Yesterday, a garden view room opened up, so I called reservations and got our room changed to it. While a waterfront room is nice, we think we’d prefer a garden room since it would hopefully be quieter at night. Plus, it saves us a few $100’s with the lower cost room type.
So, late last night and this morning, I checked MDE and it shows that we have 2 rooms booked, one of each type, all on the same confirmation number. To make matters worse, the app shows that we have 4 rooms booked. Has anyone had this happen to them? My main concern is I don’t want to argue with them about paying for an additional 1-3 rooms. Also, I’m leery about them canceling our entire reservation when I call in a day or two to get it fixed.
Any insights would be appreciated.
