MDE and ios 13

Is anyone else having trouble with the app after updating to iOS 13? I can't seem to find any recent info on this but since I updated 2 days ago my wait times have disappeared and search isn't really working (sometimes if I type something very specific). Not sure what else is broken yet but have a trip in 5 weeks so I'm hoping there is an update soon to fix it. Or am I the only one and have missed a setup step somewhere? I've been using the app since day 1 without any problems until now.

Here now. There’s a known bug where MDE can’t open your room door if you are using IOS 13. I’m also noticing a ridiculous number of app crashes, but that might just be an existing issue

I was actually about to post something similar.

I’m not getting the same problems with it not showing my details or with search, but it is randomly crashing/closing quite a bit as I navigate around the app. That’s happened on/off over the years but it had actually been performing pretty well lately... until I upgraded iOS. Now it’s back to random crashing.

I had read awhile back that those with beta version of iOS 13 had abundant problems with the MDE app - seems some of those are definitely still going on.

In general, never update until after a few weeks to insure all the bugs are worked out.

Apparently, there is a 13.1 coming out to address these problems in the next few weeks.

Yup, that's exactly why I have auto updates off, but this one got me because I wanted watchOS6 which requires 13. At least I'm not going nuts, it looks like there are problems with more than just my phone. Hopefully Disney IT will be better than usual and develop an update soon.

Fastpass searches are taking around 30 seconds to load now, whereas before it took 2-3 seconds. But my moms phone which still had ios12 was having the same issue. Anyone else having an issue with slow load times?

Mine is crashing almost every time I open it. If I go right back in, then it’s ok. If I wait at all, it crashes again.

I haven’t had any issues yet on my main device since the update.. I used the app 3 different times, today alone, for searching ADR’s and looking at my plans and it has not crashed yet.

ETA: Just checked my phone and already had iOS 13.1downloaded, so not sure if that’s why I had no issues? Make sure you guys go and download the newest update! (There are a LOT of fixes and additions!)

Both of these are existing issues. I've had both for over a year, especially the ridiculous number of app crashes. Door opening has been extremely off and on too

Didn't have a choice with my 11. Came with 13 loaded already

I updated yesterday to 13.1 and still have crashing issue - almost every time I open it crashes and I have to relaunch.

I installed 13.1, did nothing to help MDE play nicely LOL. I just put the web version on my homescreen, in case I need to access that way this weekend while there

Yeah, I'm not at every time - but maybe 20-30% of the time since I upgraded to 13.1 yesterday afternoon.

I mentioned above it's been like that on/off for awhile (years?) but had recently been in a period of no crashes for me, until now.
