I am a DVC member.
I booked my BLT 2022 trip at 11 months, and then manually added the trip to MDE by using the reservation number. The trip was for 18 nights starting March 12th (Saturday).
At 10 months, we decided to start the trip a day early and take some time off the back end of the trip. So, it's now 11 nights starting March 11th (Friday). The original reservation number is the current reservation number. i.e., when modifying, I wasn't given a new reservation number.
It's now more than 6 months later, and I found that MDE still has the original trip dates. I attempted to link a new resort reservation, and it says the reservation number is already linked (and doesn't update the dates). I can't locate a spot on MDE that allows me to "un-link" a reservation.
I need the reservation on MDE to show the correct starting date in order to make dining reservations in January for this March trip.
I called website technical support, and was told there was a 167 minute wait. So, I called the resort reservation line the next day. They confirmed the DVC dates are the correct dates, but couldn't help with the MDE problem. They suggested I contact website technical support and told me there was a 118 minute wait and no option to have them return call me. They also suggested I try between 7 and 7:30am eastern time. So, I called today at 7:15. This morning the wait is 163 minutes.
Other than tie up my phone for hours on hold, is there some other way I might fix this problem? Obviously, cancelling and re-booking the trip is not an option.
