MDE and canceling one guest (dining)

We had a group of 8 and have a couple of ADRs. Now we have a group of 7. I cannot find a way to remove one guest from my dining in MDE. My only option is to delete and rebook. Well of course if I do that I won't get back in as all of the ADRs are full.

My plan is to just show up with 7 of the 8 guests. However, I figured I check with you experts first to confirm.

1) We have a $10 per guest hold with a credit card, if we show up with 7 are they really going to charge me $10? I'm thinking no, that would $80 if we don't show... but that's all.
2) We won't have an issue being seated? First question is always "Is your whole group here?" Well yes... and no! My whole group is here, but my group is now only 7.

Using the app there is a "modify" function allowing you to change the number in your group. Changing your ADR is not necessary though, you will not be charged as long as your party shows up, even with fewer members.

They won't charge you for showing up with one less person. Only if nobody at all shows up.

Just let them know when you check in that you have 7 people now. I've never had any issues.

Thanks for the quick responses. That is what I figured/hoped. Just hearing someone else say it help!

So he's still in my group and still on my ADRs, but I was able to remove him from my park days.

I got the impression I can't remove him from my group because he's on my ADRs, but I can't remove him from my ADRs without rebooking... SO i'm leaving it all where it is right now.
