Rensselaer County plans H1N1 clinics
TROY -- The Rensselaer County Department of Health will offer four H1N1 vaccination clinics for children this month.
The H1N1 vaccine will be provided free for Rensselaer County residents between the ages of 5 and 18.
The county said the clinics could be canceled if expected vaccine shipments from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control are delayed.
Pre-registration is required by calling 270-2626. The schedule is:
10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Troy High School gymnasium. Pre-register from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Dec. 13, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Rensselaer County, Rensselaer. Pre-register from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 8 and 9.
3:30 to 8 p.m., Dec. 15, Hoosic Valley Elementary School. Pre-register from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 10.
10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Dec. 19, Columbia High School gymnasium in East Greenbush. Pre-register from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 16 and 17.
Those who are not in the target age group but are interested in receiving the H1N1 vaccine should contact their primary care provider or call the Rensselaer County Department of Health at 270-2655.
