I'm sure that this has been asked at least a million times, but is there a link to the best route from MCO to WDW? We'll be renting a car at MCO and driving to CBR. Last time I did this, the trip to WDW went great, but we got lost on the way back to the airport.

Thanks for any help!:goodvibes

Returning to airport. Take I-4 East to 528 (Beach Line) east. On 528 watch for the special "exit ramp" to pay the toll in cash. Then get off 528 at its exit 9 (Tradeport). Left (north) and cross under. (Nice cheap gas station right here on the left.) With the gas station at your left get into middle lane. Required right (east) onto McCoy (becomes Frontage Rd). Next light is 436 (Semoran Blvd), turn right to enter airport.

Going to Disney. Out the north airport exit, left (west) at first light (Frontage). Little over a mile is next light (Conway) where you take two lefts to get on 528 west. Watch for "exit ramp" needed to pay toll using cash. Then on to the end of 528 and I-4 west (southwest) and then Disney exits will appear soon.

I would think the quickest way would be using the South Exit towards Boggy Creek Road at the Airport. Then you get on the 417 westbound. There will be a few toll plazas to go thru. Go for 10 miles on 417 and exit on exit 6 towards 535/536/I-4. Continue straight and this will take you right into WDW. Exit on Buena Vista Drive and look for the signs for CBR. Everytime we have used 417 it is rarely crowded, we avoid I-4 as much as possible.

An alternate route from the PP and IMHO far easier and never any traffic would be to use RT417.

Take South exit out of airport to 417
Proceed on 417 for approx 11 miles to exit 6 ( you will go through 2 tolls @ $1.25 ea, exit 6 is right after 2nd toll. )
You will be on RT536 after exiting.
Follow 536 directly into Disney approx 2.7 miles.
After entering Disney take the second exit which will loop around and put you on Buena Vista Dr.
CBR is on the left at the second traffic light.

Total trip approx 21 miles and 25 min

When returning to the airport just yesterday at approx 5pm I-4 was a virtual parking lot heading east toward the airport, which is why I would never use that route from or to MCO.

We always take the "south" exit and then follow signs onto 417 west.... this has felt like the quickest way and avoids any likely traffic on rt 4 closer to downtown orlando.
