MCO to VERO

Our drive from VB to disney was about 1 1/2 hours....have you checked mapquest for an estimate? Better yet, call VB and ask.

1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours is a good estimate given good weather

thanks

I agree, but would add "given that it's not a Daytona racing week and no major construction delays". :teeth:

I do not go the way Disney suggest to go. I take this toll road that is in the middle of FLA. I forget the name, but on the map it is the only highway in the middle of the state running south. It cost like $8 for the toll but you do not see anyother cars on the road, even during race week. I got tired of sitting in traffic on I-95. Just ask the toll person when you pick up your ticket where to get off for VB. (the town) . YOu will drive through groves and end up by the outlet and mall at VB. it is just a short drive to the resort. (it might be hard for a 1st timer to vb, but those that have been before and know where the mall is then I highly suggest this route as you may well be the only car on the road. (that could be scary at night, though.)

We were just down there, arrived at MCO on 5-26 from LI after 5pm, hit hardly any traffic on Beeline or 95. Was pleased at a posted 70mph limit on 95, with most (including me) doing 80. An easy 1 1/2 hour drive. After our stay at VB we had a few nights at BW, and the return was a little longer. 95 traffic was a little heavier, but still moving nicely. This was Saturday at around 10am. Made a mistake and got off an exit before we should have, but it intersected with Beeline so was not a problem. Keep in mind that MCO is between VB and DW.

BTW, we all loved VB, nice relaxing stay. Came in 2nd in the water slide races!
