MCO to MK in 3 hours?

If I land at 9:40 am, how likely is it that I can get my checked bag, take ME to Riviera, drop a bag and change clothes and get to CRT by way of bus by 12:45 pm?

I think you could do it. If your cutting it close, lyft from the hotel to MK

I suppose it depends on the ME timing. We boarded quickly but then must have been sat almost an hour waiting for it to fill up/ other guests boarding

Definitely would use Lyft or Uber over ME. I would rate it as doable with 10 min to spare!

Also remember room most likely will not be ready so Riviera lobby restroom to change and bags to bell services.

You could change at the airport too. Just pack your change of clothes in your carry on. You can probably do this before you claim your checked bag and save a bit of time.

You can do it but it could be tight depending on Magical Express, drop off at resort and dropping luggage then transportation to MK and walking to CRT.

Bring some clothes in your carry-on. 99.999% of the time we go to Orlando, we drive. I flew there in 2019 from a work trip, and they lost my dang luggage. I ended up buying some shoes and some clothes, thinking it would arrive that same day. I was at a conference, so I had slacks, button-down and nice shoes... lol... not park clothes! Luggage came the next day, thankfully.

What if the flight is late? Personally I would not make a reservation shortly after landing. Isn’t the meal prepaid?

Why? I go to The World to relax. I just wouldn't want the stress.

Flight is delayed by 10 minutes and you spend the entire flight wondering... can I make it? What if there is another delay at the airport? What if there's unexpected traffic?

Flight is delayed 30. I'd be rushing through the airport stressed that Uber might be a little late, that there would be just a little traffic. Then the bus to CRT isn't there and it seems to be taking forever... Not for me.

I know that's not what you asked but I prefer to have no plans on arrival day - or just dinner plans. And I always arrive in the morning, too.

It's possible, but like what everyone is saying it will be tight. I would take Uber or Lyft over the Magic Express so you have more control over the transportation situation.

For reference, last year (pre-covid): we landed at MCO at 6:00am from our red eye flight, we got on the ME; Before arriving to CSR, we stopped at Pop and AoA; we were able to check our bags in at CSR, change clothes, eat at El mercado, take the bus, and arrive to Magic Kingdom by 9:30am.

How to shave time:
1. Don't check luggage, just carry-on.
2. Use uber/lyft/taxi
3. Take uber to TTC and put your stuff in a locker at MK.

I've been delayed too many times traveling to say you'll make it. If you end up missing CRT is it a big $$$ deal to you?

The last few times we flew we were delayed an hour or 2 due to a mechanical issue. On arrival day I would only make a dinner ADR if the flight is early in the morning and not take the chance.

Nope..

Local here, the traffic is back to normal...insanity... and adding in the construction....double insanity....

As well there are to many what if's, and variables when traveling right now more than the just the normal traveling bumps...
Delayed flights, missed connections, overbooked flights, and the list goes on and on...

On arrival day when-ever or where-ever we travel, I never plan anything, ... This way I don't add to the stress of traveling...

Thanks again all. I switched our reservations to The Crystal Palace so that if I miss out it's not as big of a deal (the rest of my party will already be there.) Hopefully, I can grab CRT reservation for dinner when they extend hours.
