I have a question: We are flying my son in from Texas Navy base to join us for a week on our WDW Vacation :cool1:. Since we don't have a package is there a cheap way to get him to FW from MCO? Yes we could go get him but, we would prefer not shove and extra person in the car on our way to FW. Any ideas?

My cousin has used Magical Express to join us and we never have a package. I think he has to call them with the reservation info and flight info.

Try checking the MCO airport web page. Airports generally list transportation options on their websites. Maybe they will have some suggestions.

According to the WDW website YOU ARE RIGHT! You only need to be a resort guest!:cool2: Thanks so much!!! Flying him in from the TX plus tickets etc was enough extra $$$ but we haven't seen him since Xmas so he's worth it!;)

Thanks again!

Just make sure if he is using it for transportation back to the airport and goes to a park that day, that he allows plenty of travel time. We only went to the MK by boat but it took a lot longer than normal to get back and my cousin almost missed the bus. If the bus had not been running late, she would have missed the bus and her flight.

We use Happy Limousine all the time... $127 roundtrip Plus tip... No waiting for Magical Express or stops on the way...:thumbsup2

We use magical express all the time. It takes a little longer than direct service, but it's free and reliable.

I comepletely agree with Nana. I have used ME to get to my parents camper at FW (they drove from PA, we flew from TX) and it works great. When we lived in Texas, with annual passes, we could play the airfare game and get weekend trips to Disney for $3-400 so we went every other month and became experts at DME. My trick is to arrive very late in the evening (like catching a flight after work) and the lines are non-existent for ME. Arrive in the morning or mid-day and yea its a wait, and lots of stops, but its free :thumbsup2

I do the same thing and typically fly down and stay with my parents in thier RV. The last few times, I've stopped by the ME desk at MCO and got them to switch me to drop off at the Contemporary. It's been a much quicker ride from MCO to the Contemp, and then I just take the boat over to FW

awesome idea!

I'd go with Magical Express, as others have mentioned. Just make sure that he's on your reservation and you make the Magical Express arrangements ahead of time for him. You'll probably wind up getting the confirmation you need and luggage tag(s) and send them to him before he leaves.

My daughter flew from CA to Orlando and I set it up to have Disney to bring her form the airport to the Fort. She was not on our reservation as she is Navy and was gonna get her tickets at SOG. Worked like a champ!
