Hi all.
Flying into MCO on Friday (1/15) morning and then driving over to Bradenton.
Any suggestions for avoiding the delays on I-4 near Plant City?

I do not mind taking toll roads. I had been hoping for the roads to be open, but just saw on TBO.com that they now have some west bound lanes closed.

I would be very interested in info as well. I have read that crew were on scene today to drill holes and then fill them with a special mixture to solidify the roadways.... Should be done tomorrow, I would hope so they roads can be safe again.... I will be making the drive on Tuesday, 1/19 early in the morning, so I hope all is better by then....

So, you decided to take mom to WDW?
Have fun.
If I do get any information I will let you know.
Try TBO.com for news.

Looking at the maps - I was wondering about taking Rt. 60 near Brandon over to Rt. 17 and following that up to I-75.
Thoughts?

Hopefully, it will be fixed by Sunday, but I am a planner and need to be prepared
