If staying at the Vero Beach resort what airport is closer to fly into Orlando or Tampa?

I believe Orlando is closer. We drove over to Vero from Orlando in May and it took 1 1/2 hours. Vero beach is on the East Coast and Tampa is on the West. And I don't think there is any highway that goes direct between the two. But I may be wrong....

But I would bet on Orlando. Good luck.

Orlando, definitely. As stated Tampa is on the west coast, Vero is on the east. Orlando is in the middle

I asked this question once before and I believe someone said that West Palm was the closest. I could be wrong but that's what I was told.......

Melbourne (MLB) is the closest airport to the Vero Beach Resort, but you'll have to fly Delta into there via Atlanta, and it's generally not cheap. West Palm Beach (PBI) and Orlando (MCO) are the next closest. West Palm is about 1 1/4 hours to Vero, Orlando is about 1 3/4 hours to Vero. Tampa is on the west coast and would take much longer.

Realize Disney's Vero Beach Resort is north of the main part of Vero Beach, it is actually next to the intersection of A1A and Hwy 510 at Wabasso Beach.
