we flew in the day of before left our house at 330am to drive to airport then 720 flight got to mco at 1020am thenoff to resort and parks to hard on my grandson. could we stay at hyatt at airport and still use dcl transfers the next morn we are doing 7 day land sea sun to sun? any idea on how much a room for night cost there? thank you

I don't see why not, I don't think it would be a problem at all. We're staying at the Hyatt this Friday night before our Magic cruise and we're paying $160 for the night. That is the going rate it seems these days. If you're adventurous, you could try to snag the Hyatt on Priceline or Hotwire. www.biddingfortravel.com has some good pointers, but it's not guaranteed, and swayed me away from that.

Yes, they have DCL transfers from the hotel. Just call Disney and reserve your spot. We got our Hyatt room last May for $140 for the night with AAA discount. The priceline deals I think are gone. I know a few had gotten them on our cruise too. But I didn't see any after that (I think, priceline figured it out). It was very convenient to be located at the airport too. In the morning, my dh was able to walk over to the food court and pick up breakfast for the kids. I didn't eat since, I know I'd be eating a lot in the next 7 days.

If you're 62 or over, check on the senior rate. My mom got one for $99+ per room, per night last January.

I'm with maine_jennifer. If you have a grandson you might be old enough for the senior rate. We used it llast May since my mom was traveling with us. If we get to go in January, it will be just us and we're not quite old enough. Oh well.

Hi: When I cruise with my friend and her daughter on the 6/15/05 Wonder, we're staying at the Hyatt MCO the night before the cruise and taking Disney transfers. Unfortunately, I could not find a good rate. We're paying about $180.

Huckster: We live in Williamston. Small town near Lansing.
