I just booked 2 rooms at the MCO Hyatt for $37 each on priceline following advice found on www.biddingfortravel.com/. This is for 3/13/2004. Apparently the Hyatt is the only 3 star hotel in the MCO area accepting bids this low so if you need to be in the airport for an early morning flight this is the way to go. Both rooms came to $89.66 after all taxes, etc.

Thank you Thank you! I just got 2 rooms for the night before our cruise for $37. Wow!

I'm sooo jealous Bill! I've been so afraid to try bidding online for the Hyatt because I don't want to stay anywhere else. Congratulations!!

renzdr,

I'm glad my note did you some good!

Luckymommyx2,

The Biddingfortravel website took some of the risk out of it. For months I've been following this thread and bids this low were just not accepted by anyone other than Hyatt. If I got an acceptance from a nearby hotel without shuttle service I was prepared to eat the cost and reserve at Hyatt the ols fashioned way.

Actually I thought about doing it that way but the idea only came to me after booking the pre-pay rate! I will definitely try it your way next year!
