When we go to WDW in September, we will be flying on Air Tran while my brother will be on Southwest. Does anyone know if, when we go to the airport when we leave, we will be able to wait for our flights together or if those two airlines fly out of different areas/terminals?

TIA!

according to their website, they are split on the terminals, and Airtran has gates 60-99 (bottom left) while SW uses 100-129, so I don't think you'll be able to wait together.

I'm guessing there's really nowhere for us to hang out together before going through security either. It kind of stinks for us since we'll be taking ME from WDW so we'll be there way early for our flights anyway PLUS my brother's flight doesn't leave until 2 hours after ours. He's going to have quite a long wait by himself. I guess he'll survive!

There's a food court, a Starbucks and lots of seating in the atrium between the two security areas. Not the most peaceful of places, but definitely a place to hang out.

I think I've come up with Plan B. I'm going to put him on a flight that leaves earlier than ours. He can take ME to MCO a couple of hours before we have to go. That way, we can keep the kiddos in the room or at the hotel and occupied and my brother can move right on through and head back home. It sounds like a much better idea than spending hours upon hours at the airport (not my favorite thing in the world to do!)

Thanks for the help!
