Hiya Guys

We always checkin @ DTD the morning of our departure flight but then clock watch for the rest of the day as to when we should be leaving for the airport.

It drives me mad :sad2:

We are booked this year on the 19.30 flight, so what time would you guys leave for the airport, or what time do you leave say the parks in readiness for your flight.

We always get there far too early and then realise we could have had a another hour in the park:confused3

what day of the week?

if during the week, you'll be heading for the airport around rush hour, which means you need to leave more of a buffer to ensure you'll get to the airport in time.

Also, do you have to return a rental car? You have to add about 15 minutes for that.

And security can take a very long time at MCO.
I've been stuck in that security line for what seems eons.

for a 19:30 flight, if i've already checked my luggage and if i have to return a car, i would get to the airport no later than 18:00.
But take into account that i'm insane and always like to get everywhere early.

I would probably leave WDW by 17:00 on the weekend.
I'd give myself more time, if it's a weekday.
But again, i'm insane.
someone else would leave much later than that.

We still try to arrive about 2 1/2 hours before the flight, this then gives us chance to take the car back, get through security, check out duty free, and get something to eat before the flight. It's a couple of years since we've been but there was an Outback Steakhouse in departures after security (near duty free,) we always go there and get a proper dinner, as you never know what the airline food will be.

That's what we do too.

When you check in they will tell you a boarding time and we aim to arrive at the airport at least an hour before as the security queues can be a nightmare. On that basis we usually leave our resort 2 hours prior to boarding.

I wouldn't want to cut it any tighter incase you get held up.
