MCO Airport hotel for early departure flight

Hello!
I've read quite a bit about folks staying at the Hyatt MCO for late arrival flights, then taking ME to their Disney resorts the following morning.
DH and I are thinking of doing the opposite and getting an early Sunday morning flight home, but we check out of the BC on Saturday. We will have a towncar or Uber so my concern isn't with getting to the hotel the night before our flight, but where we should stay.
The Hyatt MCO seems to be the most convenient option, but at around $200 for one night, seems like a lot of money. Is the Hyatt generally the favored hotel for folks with late or early flights, or is there another airport hotel that may be a bit cheaper but isn't too far away from the airport?
TIA!

There are TONS of hotels near the airport, most of which will shuttle you to the airport as well. You can certainly get a much less expensive hotel than the Hyatt. The Hyatt is popular due to its location being right there at the airport.

As halfpintpeggy notes, there's a huge collection of hotels due north of the airport. All of them will provide shuttle rides from/to the airport. It's about a 7 minute trip, according to Bing Maps. Here's approximate location:

Bing is showing 20 different options. I plugged in a random day and got rates between $79 and $129. For reference, the Hyatt Orlando Airport is $289 for that night.

Everyone values money differently. Clearly, the Hyatt located directly at the airport is supremely convenient. But, when given the option of saving a minimum of $160, I'd chose of these options and just get up 20-30 minutes earlier and take the shuttle.

Edited to Add: I did exactly what you propose once. I had a pre-dawn flight out of Orlando, so I decided to stay near the airport the night prior. I wasn't picky about the actual hotel, so I did Priceline (or Hotwire, can't remember which). I ended up getting the Hyatt at the airport for about half their retail rate.

Not sure if they still participate with those opaque travel sites today. But, if the room is just for sleep, trying one of those services is another way to trim the cost.

Thank you both for the info.
I booked the Hyatt MCO with a refundable member rate of $197, which isn't too bad compared to other nights.
I was more wondering if there was a particular airport hotel that was highly regarded. I get nervous worrying about shuttles and getting to the airport on time, so the extra $$ may be my penance for peace of mind.
That's a great tip about Priceline or Hotwire though. I didn't even think about that!

I think you'll be happy with your decision. We use airport hotels often, both coming and going. It's just part of the cost of traveling.
