Not sure if this is the correct board for this but here goes...I thought I read somewhere there is a McD's in Orlando with the large playland. Is that correct? If so, is it close to WDW?

Thanks for any help.

I've heard there's a McDonald's in Downtown Disney. A friend of mine just got back and said they ate there. I'm not totally sure on this...anyone else know?

Actually there is a huge McDonald's - Billed as the "World's Largest" - they even have a website (sorry not sure of the address)... there is a huge playarea, arcade - it has a pizza oven, etc. etc. Pretty cool as far as McDonald's go. It is located closer to US - it's on the same road as the convention center, wonderworks, FAO - over in that direction. Hope that helps. (Don't know if it would really be worth the trip if you were paying for a taxi from WDW!)

The web site is www.mcfun.com and they even have coupons on the site for use at many of the Orlando McDonalds. However I don't belive it includes the DTD one. Hope that helps.

My wife is a McNut. She loves the place(McDonalds that is) And me, I love food. But when we went there(THE WORLD LARGEST PLAYLAND) in 2002 it was NASTY! And I am not picky, I'm the guy who loves to eat in small dingy diners where you know they are breaking plenty of health code regulations.

But this place was just disgusting. Maybe it was a bad night, maybe there was a bunch of call offs. But a lot of it didn't seem temporary. After waiting 20 min. to order and get our food we had to clean off a table so we could sit down. All of the trash cans were overflowing onto the floor(perhaps thats why everyone was leaving their messes on the tables) From what I remember the "arcade" section cosisted of a dozen games or so of which over half were not working. I don't recall the playland being all that impressive.

I had kind of forgotton about the place, but we drove by it this year on our way to the offsite "Pirates Dinner Show" and I pointed out to my wife. Instantly we both thought about how bad it was.

The McDonalds next to the All-Stars is simple. But it is clean, they usually shows Disney Movies on a huge tv, and it had a neat design on the out side. We usually stop in there once or twice on our vacation.

I thought the same as the above poster, it has been many years ago though so it may be better now. We've been to DTD and the one near the AS and I really liked the DTD better. Nice place to go to cool off with a cone or cold drink.

Hi yes it is on International Drive on the corner of I Drive and Sand Lake Rd. Even though it says worlds largest playground all they have are a bunch of games, which you have to buy tokens for, an indoor playstructure (not really that big) and some different menu items. It was OK but I agree was dirty and very busy, you really need to hang on to your kids.
