McDonalds Complaint - anyone got head office address!

I don't wish to be rude but if you all have experienced so many problems with McD's why eat there?

I haven't stepped foot in a McD's for nearly 4 years and intend never to eat in one ever again. The food is reconstituted pap and they treat people (staff & customers) like scum - so why pay for the privilege?

We go because our 4 year old loves mc'donalds, I much prefer to cook at home, but DD looks as it as a treat! once in a while we very rarely go, and when we do it is wrong! But to a 4year old, all the hassle with ordering from a mcdonalds totally goes over there heads!! (Just like rjh39 said)!

I thought that I would update you on my quest. I had a reply from Head Office telling me that the branch in question is a franchise and my complaint has been passed on to the manager! I also contact enviromental services who did a spot inspection and have promised me a detailed report, which I am still waiting for. And todya I received a letter from the branch manager, who has invited me along to the branch so that I can be shown the improvements that have been made. I am not at all impressed as no one has addressed the issue of how such a burger could be sold to me in the first place. I will let you know of any further updates.

Thanks for the update.

Isn't it annoying that the head office don't see it as their responsibility? If I were running a company which had franchises and one of them was clearly not performing properly I'd be down on them like a ton of bricks! It's McDonalds reputation as a whole that is impacted.

Similar thing happened to us recently - we had a poor experience at Manchester's Hard Rock cafe - not poor food - just poor service. I wrote to the branch manager but got no reply - so I emailed the US website - and they just passed it back to the local branch - who still didn't reply. So I esclated it to the US again - who passed it AGAIN to the local branch - who FINALLY responded last week - 5 weeks after I wrote in the first place. We have now got 2 free 3 course meal cards and an apology. It pays to be persistent. Although I guess you are not looking for a free repeat performance!!
