McDonalds Cake

Our Mc Donald's here only sells apple pie, cookies, mcflurry, ice cream sundaes and I *think* yogurt parfaits.

OP, I know what you're talking about and no I've never had one.

I'm trying to visualize.....is it decorated like Ronald McDonald? :scared1:

No, its a cake you can order with a birthday party package.

It has been a long time since I had one but I don't recall it being horrible. What I remember was just a 1 layer vanilla cake with vanilla icing and a paper (maybe edible paper?) picture of Ronald and a yellow piped border. It was obviously frozen but it was thawed for the party. DD had her birthday party there probably about 10 years ago, and many of her friends were also doing the McD's party at that time. The one we would go to had a part of the restaurant decorated for birthdays all the time and the parties would be put in that section with a "party host" to keep the kids busy.

Thank you

I agree. We had one of the kids birthdays at a McD's with an indoor playground (great in the cold!), but I think we brought our own cake.

It's not horrible. We had one at a bday party we attended not long ago. I was expecting worse. Actually tasted better than the local grocery store chains sheet cakes.

I didn't realize they had birthday packages! This is coming from a kid who had a grandma that took her there almost every day growing up! (Grandmas would meet for coffee while we played).
How much do they charge for these?

Also, the person who said they had bad hotcakes...I think they taste wonderful! Whenever I bring them to work people get jealous and try and steal them!

Oh, how the pic of that cake takes me back to my childhood! I must have had 3 or 4 birthday parties at McD's as a kid. It was the "thing" back then :)

I have not had one since I was a kid, but I remember them being super yummy!! LOL! I am sure that my memory is playing tricks on me! :rotfl2:
