Mcdonalds at Market place closing

The one in the white. I've even made that photo my Facebook profile picture in honour of Bill :lmao:

And just as I like to use any excuse to put it up, here's a photo of me in Epcot a few hours earlier :rotfl:

Just to say I AM a bit disappointed about this news. I am a very healthy eater and part of the reason we stay in villas is because I hate not knowing what is in my food esp in America and even on holiday, I prefer to cook from scratch. Even so, yes, I have the occasional McDonalds and have used the one in question a few times when we are stranded at DTD or on our last day of our holiday when we want a snack or lunch - you may not think it but often the food there is much less fattening than that at places you might think are healthy such as WP Express and also a bit kinder to your pocket - a Hamburger Happy Meal, Chicken Grills or the like with Garden Salad or sliced apple are often the lesser of two evils - honestly, I often saw it as the healthiest low budget option at DTD marketplace. I also liked the children's play area, the free lego etc. I will miss it when it goes.

I find it amusing when people think Subway is healthy: unless you choose the plainest sandwich in the world, it's NOT healthy!! :rotfl:

Not just amusing: HILARIOUS!! You can even check out the nutritional values on their charts (hidden in a not-so-prominent place) - that is if you don't mind cancellng your order after reading! :rotfl2:

We used to eat a few times in this macdonalds. It is cheap and relatively quick if you just want a snack. Its not the healthiest but is just the same as most of the other fast food places in disney

I have never been in a mcdonalds at WDW, I love earl of sandwhich and cafe Puck express at DTD. I eat Mcdonalds at home though, a treat for DD everyonce in a while.

I used to always have Tuna thinking I was being healthy until I read it was over 150 more calories than their steak and cheese which was my favourite anyway :rotfl:They do offer the under 6gms of fat subs but I agree they are pretty boring. All that said I do LOVE Subway lol

I will be sad to see it go, its fast food and easy and breakfast is still good.

Some people think they are not so healthy, but compared to some other Florida eateries such as Hooters or Taco Hell, its positively good for you ! :lmao:

I am sure that the meal I had at Le cellier wasn't to healthy ether. I have eaten plenty of burgers/chicken nuggets at WDW without going to a mcdonalds so don't get the healthy eating argument.:confused3
