We had a PS for MBYBBQ on June 1. We loved it. I went in open minded because I had read so many bad reports on it.
I told my dd's that the characters were going to be swamped. They were prepared. They are 10 & 7.

The food was good. I was starving. I had ribs (lots), corn on the cob, mac & cheese, cornbread & cake. The youngest dd didn't eat anything. She didn't like any of the food. (if it isn't kraft mac & chesse she won't eat it!) My parents & dh enjoyed the food too.

We really enjoyed the music too.

I think if you are planning a trip to MBYBBQ, please go with an open mind. Yes, it is a cattle call...........buffet style eating. The lines move quickly and there is plenty of food. My 7 yr old dd, danced until she couldn't dance anymore!!

I have been to this dinner twice and I will go again. I don't know if I have been lucky or what, but we have had great interaction with the characters. Where else can you dance with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Chip and Dale all night long and eat a lot of decent food. BBQ isn't my favorite food, but for BBQ, I thought it was great. My family had a wonderful trip each time. The kids can dance all night which is nice because they don't have to sit still at dinner. I would recommend this dinner to anyone.

We're going to the BBQ this time around, and it sounds like great fun to me. DD5 is going to love dancing with the characters, eating outside, and just having fun, fun, fun!

I always try to jump in on posts about MBYBBQ because while many are negative we loved it. We had a great time and plan on going again. The music was great and we had a blast with the characters. Glad to see you enjoyed it.
