Do any of you have these expensive walking shoes? They look like Frankenstein shoes and carry a hefty price tag, but I was wondering if they "feel" worth the price. Anyone?

I have to tell you I love mine!! I did notice a difference when I started wearing them but I also work for a very busy OBGYN practice so I was on my feet all day. Now that I am at a desk (promotion but there went my weight!) I have to make sure I put them on when I get home and walk around the house and walk the dog with them on. I have lost some tone by not wearing them 10+ hrs a day but for the most part they work if you are commited to them. I bought mine at The Walking Company. I have also seen them at Bliss-www.blissworld.com The pricing is pretty standard everywhere. I have just ordered a new shoe kinda on the same line-Fitflop- through Bliss. I can't wait to get them in and try them out when I go to WDW in a few weeks! Good luck to you and if you decide on the let me know what you think.

I have a pair of these. I use them with my orthotic. My physical therapist (tendonosis - ankle pain) says they are good for helping with balance and my posture is bette when I wear them. But they are a bit elevated and on uneven ground I once slipped off the side of my foot. Was it the shoe or klutzy me? I only wear them inside on even surfaces now.
