MB's- gate and comfort stations

Heading that way in a little over a week- can someone provide an update if the MB's work at the gates and comfort stations?

End of July they did not work. You are giving a card for this. Somebody that has been in the last month could answer if there has been updates.

If you are talking about the gate at the main entrance the MB worked for us there at the end of Aug. Couldn't answer regarding the comfort stations but I would think so since we were not given a card. We were staying in the cabins though.

We returned from our visit at the Fort on August 4. Magic Bands do NOT work for the comfort stations or laundry. We were given cards.

MB's worked at the gate for us back in the spring, but not Comfort Stations. The challenge of using them at the gate is positioning your wrist such that the reader will recognize it. Not always easy, and you need to be quite close to the reader to accomplish this. That was our experience anyway. I just kept the credit card version handy. Really will be nice when they get the CS's working so I can quit having to remember to have that credit card for late night runs to the CS.

We were in the cabins so did not have to worry about CS.
I agree that positioning your wrist at the gate is difficult. I ended up taking the MB off when going through the gate. This was much easier.

When we were there 8/22 - 8/24 the bands did not work for the comfort stations. They did work well for getting in the parks and charging privledges.

Here now... Key card for everything, and the gate hasn't been working at all since we got here on Sat. It has a cone in front of it and you have to go through the guard to get in. Maybe they're working on it? One can hope.

I'm not a techie or anything, so I could be way wrong about this.....but, it seems like getting bands to work for comfort stations would be one of the easier things to do...lol. I suppose with all other issues they have it may be low on list. I suppose gate could be broken for many reasons....actual mechanics of gate broken, etc.

We were there August 18th-30th and just a heads up, the cards only worked for a few days and then we had to go get new ones so we could use the laundry room. Magic Bands never worked on the front gate.

Agree that it should be easy, but I also agree that out of 98 priorities of getting the band to work opening a CS when a card works is probably priority 98.
