Not sure if this is the right place so if not please move. My question is when you go to check in will there be a set amount taken from my credit card put on hold?

No. But I think there is a daily limit that once you reach it they will charge the card. Sliding scale that increases from Value to Deluxe resort.

It's not a daily limit, it's an aggregate limit. Once you reach that set amount, the card will be charged. It used to be $500/ $1000/$1500 (value/mod/deluxe). Not sure if those are still the amounts or if they've been raise.
